4D Focus for accurate subject tracking
With Sony's 4D Focus tech, fast and accurate autofocus lets you capture fleeting moments in detail. A total of 425 phase-detection AF points work in conjunction with contrast-detection AF to achieve up to 0.02second speed, while High-density AF Tracking Technology follows even erratically moving subjects. Highly accurate autofocus works in dim lighting, and Enhanced Real-time Eye AF supports portrait shooting.

4K movies
Make ultra high definition 4K movies with HDR. Sony's S-Gamut/S-Log system amplifies all the different colour shades to make each frame more expressive, while Slow & Quick Motion recording and Time-lapse features create extra-dramatic clips. Fast hybrid AF keeps focus smooth and steady in movie footage.

Tiltable touch monitor, OLED viewfinder
The 3" 180° tilting rear screen flips up 180-degrees and down 74, so you can shoot from more difficult and dynamic perspectives. And it offers a variety of intuitive touch operation, including Touch Pad, Touch Focus, Touch Shutter, and Touch Tracking. The OLED viewfinder features real-time data and 100% coverage.
