Product information

The Tummy Tub Bath is a new concept in bathing babies which was designed by child experts in the Netherlands.

Its intention is to ease baby through the transition from the womb into the world and allows it to sit in a foetal position while bathing, a position it naturally adapts to and is comfortable with, ensuring baby feels relaxed and reassured.

Because of its shape, the Tummy Tub Bath uses less water than conventional baby baths and the smaller surface area means the water stays warmer for longer. It is lightweight, with ergonomic handles, and is fully recyclable. With rubber anti-skid base and low centre of gravity for stability.

Tummy Tub Bath 4.6 5 20 20
Quick, easy, fun and eco-friendly bathtime After a lot of research we opted for 2 bath products - the Tummy Tub and the JL Bath support for the main bath. Both have been brilliant. We tend to use the Tummy Tub for when we want a quick and easy bath - our 4 month old loves being in it and splashes her arms around, grinning like a Cheshire cat. The only reason we use the man bath now is to allow her to lay back and splash her legs in the bath in preparation for swimming lessons. The Tummy Tub uses a fraction of the water required to bath her in the main bath, so it's ecologically friendly too. It was a little scary to use at first for a first-time Mum lacking in confidence when she was a newborn, but since she's been able to support her head, both her and my confidence have increased and it's brilliant for both of us. Sourced the Tummy Tub stand elsewhere on-line (as JL don't stock it) as this allowed me to sit on a chair and bathe her but that's not essential, just helpful as a back pain sufferer. Would highly recommend this product and if my daughter could talk, I'm sure she would too! 24 February 2013
Great bath alternative - user friendly I have used this with my daughter since she was born and have got on very well with it. It uses very little water and is quick and easy to use every night. As my baby has got bigger she's enjoyed it even more as it helps her to sit up unaided. I am pleased with the purchase. 20 January 2013
surprisingly good my baby loves this product! no mre crying at bath time 08 January 2013
Highly recommended for newborns This tub has been a savior in times of continuous crying; nothing works better when the baby is suffering from colic. My little one hates taking a bath overall but simply loves her tummy tub..she starts moving her legs around and ends up sleeping in it, no crying whatsoever. I am so impressed with this product that I will now buy another one to give as a present to my cousin who is expecting in two weeks. 07 November 2012
Not for active babies! Liked the idea and the many positive reviews so bought this in great anticipation of our windy 4 mth old baby girl loving it. Unfortunately she she really hasn't. Our normally happy and active little girl becomes very subdued (and not in a good way) and seems very scared. We have figured it to be due to her love of kicking her legs - obviously prohibited with this product. It is also quite awkward to get her out of it. We have since bought a flexibath and she loves bath time again and making as big splashes as possible. Still think it is a nice idea but not for every baby. Now using it as a somewhat expensive storage bucket! 20 June 2012
Fabulous not a gimmick! Easy to use requires small amount of water. Irritable baby instantly relaxes as soon as feet touch the bottom. Fabulous way to calm and relax crying baby 08 March 2012
possibly overrated i bought this for my 11 week old daughter whos got colic ive found it quite difficult to use an d scary. it takes two to bath her and can never lift her out properly without panicking as i never feel ive got hold of her properly. ive gone back to other bath for now as it doesnt help with her wind but hopefully when shes bigger ill go back to it and she will enjoy it. dont dislike product but its possibly overrated 08 March 2012
Amazing My grandson loves this tummy tub, my daughter has been bathing him in it since he was born. He is fourteen weeks old now and he still loves having a bath, he suffers from reflux and we are sure that having a bath sat up this way really helps with wind. He likes it so much he cries when he is taken out. 08 January 2012
