Enamel interior
Like the inside of Le Creuset grills, the skillet is coated with a satin black enamel finish that protects it for high surface heat use and will not wear off. Very durable, hygienic and easy to clean, this cooking surface also helps to achieve the correct sealing and searing of foods, as well as the caramelisation of the juices. The surface is chipping and stain-resistant and over time, a natural patina will develop that is ideal for frying.

• Read the appropriate instructions that will come with your item. Remove all packaging and labels
• Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly
• Cooking on a medium or low heat gets the best results — even for frying and searing
• Let the product heat up gradually for great-tasting food that’s cooked evenly. If you need to use a higher heat, lower the setting once the desired heat has been reached
• Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic tools are recommended
• For best results, use an appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to reduce the risk of damage to the product
• Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage
• Before cooking, take a few drops of water on your fingers and scatter over the hot surface. If they sizzle and evaporate almost immediately, it's hot and ready for use
• Always use oven gloves when handling hot products
• Allow product to cool before cleaning. If washed too quickly, thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel
