The Gourmet Precision pepper mechanism is made from hardened carbon steel that strips instead of crushing the peppercorns, allowing them to release their natural oils which gives you more flavour with every turn. The salt mechanism is made from diamond-sharp ceramic. The pepper mill has six grind settings and the salt mill has three grind settings, so you can easily change the seasoning grind from fine to coarse. To adjust the grind, simply turn the Grind Select band to the desired setting. Use a coarse setting for steaks or tomato salad, a medium setting for pizzas and a fine setting for soups and sauces.
