The Cloud Z2 is also flexible outside your vehicle, the seat can be reclined to a full lie-flat position (outside the car only) as part of a travel system with a stroller, so if your baby falls asleep in their car seat you have peace of mind they are in an ergonomic position that allows for safe sleeping, should they need to be in there for long periods of time. The integrated sun canopy offers UPF50+ sun protection and generous shade inside and outside your car, in any recline position. This infant car seat is truly the perfect companion for every stage of your journey.

This PLUS version features fabric in two-tone coloured denim that gives it a unique textured appearance, as well as enhanced durability - for a comfortable feel.

Key Features:

Easy Boarding position:With a handy rotation mechanism, you can turn the car seat 180 degrees for easy boarding. The Base Z2 (sold separately) includes this feature, allowing the Cloud Z2 to swivel towards the car door for effortless entry and exit for your child. When taking a break in your journey the seat can also be turned to face a parent, making it easy to share a snack or interact.

Comfortable sleep, wherever you go: With the Cloud series, Cybex have developed an ergonomic lie-flat position. Building on this innovation the newest Cloud Z2 can also be placed in a semi-reclined position while in the car. This new feature allows greater comfort for the child without compromising on safety while on the road. When outside the car the easy carrying handle can be moved to a position to help balance the car seat if placing it on the floor, meaning you don't need to disturb the baby when moving inside.

Comfortable travelling: With the use of adaptors (sold separately) the Cloud Z2 can be attached to numerous Pushchairs, Prams or Strollers from CYBEX, gb and other select brands. This allows the infant car seat to become part of a convenient travel system beyond the car, the Cloud Z2 can be reclined to an ergonomic full lie-flat position perfect for any baby that falls asleep during a car ride or whilst out, increasing comfort and mobility.

Grows with the child: The adjustable headrest offers 12 positions for a customized adjustment as your child grows. The intuitive integrated harness automatically adjusts to make it quick and easy for parents to change when their child grows.

Side impact protection: The Cloud Z2 features the tried and tested CYBEX Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) System for increased protection. The very first impact forces of an accident are reduced by the extended side protector facing the door. Together with the car seat’s flexible shell, it reduces impact forces by up to 25%, channelling them away from your child.

Good fit for the smallest of travellers: The Cloud Z2 features a removable newborn inlay, which creates a near-flat lying position for newborns and is added support for smaller or premature babies. This helps to reduce the risk of the baby’s head tipping forward while asleep, which can lead to serious breathing problems. To ensure your growing infant has enough space, the newborn inlay should be removed once the child is taller than 60cm.

Full sun protection: The generous sun canopy is made from UPF50+ fabric, primarily protecting your child from the sun but can also act as a shield against wind, or even the hustle and bustle of the street. When not in use the canopy can easily be stowed away.

Safety:

Under no circumstances should a rearward-facing car seat be used on a passenger seat where there is an active airbag.

Correct fitting of all car seats and boosters is of paramount importance in making them the most effective in the event of an accident. Not all car seats fit all cars and it is important to check for fitting suitability on all cars you intend to fit the seat to, as well as re-checking if you change your car.

Always read the instruction booklet that comes with your car seat to achieve a safe and correct fitting, retaining the guide for future reference. We recommend fitting your car seat in advance of first using it.

We recommend that babies shouldn't be left in car seats (infant carriers) for prolonged periods.

All the car seats in our range are designed to give your child the best possible protection and meet the criteria set out in the R129 (iSize) safety regulation. A baby must travel in the safer rear-facing position up to the minimum recommended age of 15 months. Some R129 car seats can be used rear-facing until a child is 105cm tall, which is around 4 years old.

Side impact testing is assessed as part of the regulation to improve the protection of the child’s head and neck. R129 also makes use of the most high-tech crash test dummies which not only has improved sensor technology to test for greater sensitivity, but it also features more sensors on fragile areas of the body. iSize is an enhancement of R129 that makes it easier to confirm your car seat's compatibility with any iSize approved vehicle - reducing the risk of installing your car seat incorrectly. While all i-Size car seats meet the R129 testing standards, not every R129 car seat is an iSize compatible seat.

R129 (iSize) car seats are classified by height only. The below table is a rough guide as to how the car seats can relate to a child’s age based on the average child's height. In some instances, we may still need to check the weight of the child within the height band due to the maximum mass load permitted on a vehicle’s ISOFIX points.
