Radford Bright cutlery is a modern classic, which owes its origins to the contours and balance of traditional eighteenth-century English cutlery design, a heritage which imbues it with timeless appeal.
The pattern is an evolution of Premier, originally designed in 1984 by Robert Radford Welch as a modern equivalent to the shape and weight of Georgian cutlery. It was restyled, renamed, and relaunched in his memory in 2003. It has been added to the list with individual extra pieces ever since, making it the brand's most extensive range.
Radford cutlery achieved the internationally acclaimed German Design Award in 2020.

For over 50 years, Robert Welch Designs has been designing cutlery, kitchenware, tableware and other unique products for the home. The company was founded by Robert Welch, M.B.E., Royal Designer for Industry, who specialised in stainless steel production design. He was responsible for a large number of iconic and award-winning designs and his work can be seen in museums throughout the world.
Over 5 decades later, the company is still run by the Welch family and a new team of designers continues to pursue excellence and innovative vision whilst maintaining integrity of function and value for money for customers.
