Brand information
Englishmen Shaun and Gerry created Skandinavisk after moving to Copenhagen and Stockholm more than 15 years ago, and falling for the Scandinavian way of life.
In 2013, when they launched their first scented candles, they made it their mission to bring to life the stories of Scandinavia through design and fragrance – whether the focus be on the local flora, so abundant in summer and frozen in winter, or the thoughtful approach to life and nature common to all Scandinavians. They felt the multi-sensory experience offered by design, material, fragrance and flame truly represented the region's unique personality.

The story behind the design
Each symbol in the brand pattern reflects an aspect of the region that is being celebrated - from the evergreen forests to the maritime history, from the snowflake to the candle flame, the flags to the unique letters in the alphabet. Each symbol represents a chapter in the story of Scandinavia, together they represent the full story.
Soft and unique fragrances
The fragrances are designed to specifically reflect the nature and lifestyle of the Scandinavian region and, like Scandinavian design itself, the fragrances are subtle and refined. Speaking softly and with intelligence rather than shouting for attention. ‘Lagom’ is a Swedish word translating to ‘not too much, not too little’ and this encapsulates our scent aesthetic.

Small items
Return a small item you bought online for free to a John Lewis or Waitrose shop, or one of our return locations. You can also arrange a collection using Evri or Royal Mail.
Large items - items delivered by two people, such as appliances and furniture
We'll collect large items from you. Collections are free if your item is damaged or faulty. If not, we charge a collection fee. To arrange a collection, please contact us.
