MusicCast
This is a new revolution in network audio from Yamaha which enables you to use all your MusicCast products together or separately, all from one app on your Smartphone. Play the same, or different, tracks through each compatible device to fill each room which audio to suit the mood. Use a soundbar, wireless speaker, AV receiver or Hi-Fi unit to mix and match the playlist output, and then expand the system as time goes on.
Establishing a seamless connection through your home’s Wi-Fi, MusicCast can be enjoyed from anywhere in your living space.

Compatible with a range of networks
The CD player has a network of play functionalities which can expand your range of listening.
Tune into FM radio to hear the latest music and broadcasts. You can even select up to 30 of your favourite radio stations for quick access next time round.
Better still, the N670 has a built-in USB jack on the front panel so you can plug in your backed-up playlists. It can also be linked to Apple AirPlay so you can stream music directly from your Apple iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and any other compatible Apple device with no cables, and no dock.
And the latest Bluetooth technology is on hand to stream music from any Smartphone or tablet across a 10 metre range. You can even play music from the mini Hi-Fi system to a set of Bluetooth headphones or other enabled speakers.
And a DLNA certified connection can access music stored on your PC or laptop. Or even music services such as Spotify. With the Spotify app on your Smartphone, you've got instant access to millions of songs which can now be streamed via the Yamaha Hi-Fi system.

Instant music play
Put your music at just one-touch away with a dedicated button. The remote control (supplied) holds a Favourite button which can grant you instant access to your preferred radio station or any other music source of your choice.

Behind the design
Packed in to an exceptionally rigid cabinet is all the great audio tech you need to deliver the best quality sound reproduction.
A premain, digital power amp creates high power and strong drive producing a maximum output of 65 watts per channel. This natural PWM type digital modulation has an extremely simple circuit configuration which provides both natural, uncoloured sound quality as well as high efficiency. And in the low-pass filter of the latter part of the power amp is a large coil made of low-loss, low-distortion OFC (oxygen-free copper). This enhances the power of the bass and ensures warmth in the mid and high frequency sounds.

The premain amp also features a dedicated subwoofer output jack. This allows you to directly connect a sub for adding extra impact to a powerful bass.

Each of the two separate speakers are equipped with a 3cm soft dome tweeter and a A-PMD woofer. The tweeters, made by coating the diaphragm and applying unique moulding technology, achieve an exceptionally high-range reproduction and rich breadth of sound. And the woofer is equipped with Yamaha's original 13cm diameter A-PMD (Advanced Polymer Injected Mica Diaphragm) cones which hits powerful, natural notes with excellent midrange clarity and bass response.

High quality parts
Preserving the purity of sound and longevity of the system is the use of high quality components. All input and output jacks are gold-plated. Even the large gold plated terminals are compatible with banana plugs for the speaker outputs.
An aluminium front panel has been used to create a luxurious finish which features an understandably simple, elegant layout. This included originally designed aluminium control knobs which reflect the top-class identity of Yamaha Hi-Fi.
