Designed by the John Lewis & Partners in-house Design Studio, our round Bloomsbury tablecloth has a homely hand-drawn pattern. Made from cotton with a PVC coating, it's easy to wipe clean. Team with our Bloomsbury napkins in a matching pattern.

This theme is inspired by the Bloomsbury Group - artists and writers living, working and studying together in London in the early 1900s. This art movement is characterised by the group's literature, art and thought-provoking modern attitudes, with a soft illustration style usually based in interior settings, which inspired many of our decorations.

The designs have a cosy, nostalgic feel, with use of warm copper tones paired with bold, complementary colours.

All of this year's design themes have been inspired by the colour and creativity within art and the idea that art is for all. Christmas is a time for creativity, whether that means the time and effort put into preparing your home, or simply bringing friends and family together to make great memories.

Care instructions:

1. The fabric is hard-wearing and durable but it will not tolerate paint, nail polish, lipstick, ink, curry, turmeric and certain oil stains
2. This fabric is ideal for use as a tablecloth as spills and mess can easily be wiped up with a damp cloth
3. If any liquids are spilt, it's a good idea to clean up straight away to prevent the stain seeping into the fabric
4. Be cautious of excessive heat which can damage the coating and look of the fabric
5. Always protect the tablecloth by using placemats and coasters
