Hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, Botanical Stripe is a signature artwork of the Floribunda collection, celebrating the historic tradition of botanical illustration in Britain.
Botanical Stripe is printed using a fine mesh gravure technique, bringing to life the soft painterly nature of the motifs. Matte and metallic pigments are layered in varied degrees of tonality to create a subtle luminescence, reminiscent of Victorian cyanotypes.
