The frame is built from expertly crafted engineered wood featuring frame-and-panel construction, ensuring exceptional structural integrity. Inside the cushions, hand-tied coil springs provide reliable support, while the seat and back cushions are polyester-wrapped, lending a comfortable yet firmer feel. The chair's silhouette is defined by a modern square arm and a classic tufted tight back paired with a semi-attached seat cushion. A key functional feature is the integrated swivel mechanism, which allows the chair to smoothly turn a full 360∘

Upholstered in premium top-grain, aniline-dyed leather, this chair is designed to age beautifully. The leather is a natural product, meaning that variations in colour and texture are inherent to each hide—no two pieces will be exactly alike. With both use and time, the leather will naturally lighten and soften, gradually developing a rich, desirable patina that enhances its character. The chair is anchored by a sturdy wood base that is finished in Pottery Barn's signature Seadrift tone.
