This pewter wine funnel from Royal Selangor has a decorative band around the rim that features the William Morris grapes and vine motif. It comes with a sieve to catch any lees or rogue cork fragments so you can enjoy your aerated wine.
If gifting, consider making it that little bit more special by having it personalised. The plain, polished body leaves plenty of space for a message to be engraved.
Part of a collection produced in collaboration with the Victora & Albert Museum, London, it carries the V&A logo.
Pewter is almost maintenance-free as it does not react with the air to oxidise or tarnish. It can attract dust and dirt, but all that's required is an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Over time pewter develops a pleasing and subdued patina unique to the metal which is part of the beauty of investing in this material.
