Audio-Technica’s LP5X features upgraded tech, while keeping the style and performance of its acclaimed predecessor, the LP5. Its J-shaped tone arm, expert build and three-speed capability ensures professional playback of your LPs, and it includes a USB port for direct connection to a computer.
Classic design
Following the company’s legendary 60s and 70s designs, the J-shaped tone arm is designed to avoid tracking errors, including an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate control. It’s fitted with Audio Technica’s lightweight AT-HS6 headshell and the AT-VM95E dual moving magnet cartridge, ensuring exceptionally clear playback. A direct-drive engine plays 33, 45 & 78 RPM records, so you can play your whole collection.
Precision construction
Its die-cast aluminium platter and thick rubber-damping mat work together to minimise chassis resonance, for precise playback and delivering the full audio potential of vinyl. A built-in switchable phono/line preamp allows connection to a stereo system which is equipped with either a phono or line-level input.
Digitize your LPs
Connect via USB to a PC or Mac with an available USB port (USB 2.0 or higher) and use audio software (available separately) to convert your records to a digital file format. It’s ideal for transferring your vinyl classics to a format you can listen to on-the-go, on your smart phone or MP3 player.
