The Kirami FinVision® Terrace for your Misty Sauna is a ready-made module that's easy to connect with other Misty buildings. The terrace can be installed between the sauna, changing room or lounge. Alternatively, the terrace can also be attached as an extension to a sauna or changing room, for example, so that the covered terrace can be used as a comfortable recreation area. A third option is to purchase the terrace as a separate module, for example as a sheltered sun terrace, summer kitchen or barbecue shelter.
Medium Terrace module
This medium-sized terrace consists of a back wall, a roof, a floor and two support beams on each side of the front. The outer panelling of the terrace's back wall is made of the same spruce panel (STS profile) as in the Misty Sauna. The inner sides of the back wall and the roof are made of heat-treated 3D wooden slats, which gives the buildings a nice, light look. Two beams at the front of the terrace allow the terrace modules to be easily connected in different ways to the Misty buildings. The terrace floor is made of heat-treated pine, which keeps the terrace structure looking uniform and light. The roof of the terrace is easy to connect with the other Misty modules, thanks to its uniform click-lock roofing material and construction.
Terrace lighting
There are LED strip lights between the back wall and the roof of the terrace. This indirect lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere and highlights the shape of the 3D panels. There are also two LED lights embedded in the ceiling to provide additional light to the terrace when required. A two-button light switch is mounted on the back wall, which allows you to control both lights separately.
Base requirements and planning consent
Before delivery and assembly on site by Kirami, all Misty sauna and Annex structures require a firm and level base that can withstand the weight. The base can be evened with gravel or, if you want a firmer base, it can be cast in concrete. Where multiple units are to be connected such as a sauna and lounge/terrace/changing room the level base is paramount to being able to connect them successfully. All structures fall within permitted development requirements so no planning permission is required. Made in Finland and assembled on delivery, the terrace is lifted into place on your pre-prepared flat surface. The building does not have to be connected to other buildings if you do not want this option. Nothing prevents you from connecting the terrace to a sauna building, for example, at a later date.
Connecting the terrace to your Misty sauna/changing room/lounge
The terrace is attached to your Misty sauna or changing room and connected at the bottom at the transport supports. The roof is connected with a U-profile sheet. The terrace can be installed attached to the sauna and changing room or it can end as an open terrace.
Extra doors
Extra doors can be specified with Kirami once you have placed your order with John Lewis, as an added cost. There is no charge for creating an opening, for example, if you want to go from the outside, through an Annex lounge or changing room and into the sauna through a door hole. The only extra change is if an additional door is required, for example, access from the outside to a lounge from the left and the right off a deck/terrace.
