We advise against the use of myLEDmask for children & pregnant women; if taking photosensitising products: the use of retinoids, products containing retinol, or other photosensitising medications, is a contraindication for any phototherapeutic treatment (list of photosensitising products at the end of the treatment protocol guide). This can also include perfumes, essential oils, products containing AHA-BHA, etc. If in doubt, we invite you to consult a dermatologist or specialist. We also advise against its use if taking anti-inflammatory treatment, as this negates the benefits of LED therapy, and/or if you have thyroid problems.
