The Gaia Baby Newborn+ Carrier is made from fully certified GOTS organic cotton. Pure and soft, it is free from even trace elements of chemicals and is guaranteed 100% formaldehyde-free. Fully breathable and temperature-regulating, the softly quilted outer shell adds an extra touch of style and ensures a cosy hug for your newborn baby. Touchpoints at the knees and neck are softly padded to protect baby’s sensitive skin, whilst a double-layered front panel fully supports your growing baby in the hip-healthy ‘M’ position.
With just three clicks to secure, fitting and wearing your baby couldn’t be easier. Designed specifically for use from birth (3.2kg), you can use the Gaia Baby Carrier in three positions: Newborn, Parent-Facing, or World-Facing (from 5-6 months+). As your baby grows, simply unwrap at the waistband and adjust the shoulder straps to fit the baby’s height (easy-to-follow video instructions are available).
The extra-wide shoulder straps distribute weight evenly, and the adjustable waistband allows for optimum size adjustment, accommodating wearers from petite to XXL sizes.
Certified for use up to 15kg (CEN/TR 16512:2015); for optimum comfort and performance we recommend use up to 9-12 months (approximately 11kg). We are proud to say our carrier is formaldehyde-free and has been fully tested and certified to BS EN ISO 14184-1. Machine washable at 30°C.
