The core structure is built from solid, kiln-dried Meranti wood and MDF. This solid construction is overlaid with white oak veneers, a technique that results in high-quality furniture with a flawless surface and consistent colour.
The Tuscan Brown finish gives the Summerville Bed its distinct, antique charm, an exclusive finish designed to imitate the natural wear and tear of a true vintage piece. As a result of this specialized technique, each bed will have subtle variations, meaning no two pieces will be exactly alike, ensuring a unique centrepiece for your bedroom.
The Summerville Bed includes adjustable levellers that provide stability on uneven surfaces, ensuring your bed remains perfectly steady. The design is compatible with an adjustable mattress base.
Please note: West Elm bed frames have slat gaps larger than 7cm, this would invalidate the mattress guarantee of any John Lewis mattress used in conjunction with this bed frame.
